After you submit your KYC information, your account is typically verified within 120 seconds on average. However, our onboarding team may reach out for further information concerning your application, which could cause additional delays. To ensure faster approvals, always submit clear and accurate documentation during your onboarding.

You can add funds to your card using your external Crypto Wallet, or Slate Wallet in the our app. Go to the 'Card', tap 'Add Funds', and select your funding method

Your slate card can be used online where Visa cards are accepted. It cannot be used on remittance platforms or crypto exchanges

To access Slate Advance™, you will need to complete Level - 3 verification and must have positive balance in your Slate Wallet as collateral.

To access an advance, follow these steps:
1. Go to "Slate Advance™" tab and then press on "Borrow" button;
2. Choose a credit account from the list of available accounts;
3. Choose a preferable ratio, collateral account, and borrowed amount, and then press "Continue";
4. Accept the Slate Advance™ T&C, confirm the credit details, and press "Confirm";

Congratulations! Now you've successfully borrowed funds from your crypto holdings without spending them!

LTV is Loan-to-Value ratio, which is calculated by dividing the amount borrowed by the value of collateral, expressed as a percentage.

For example, if you borrow $100 of USDC and the value of your BTC collateral is $1000, your LTV is equal to 10% (100 / 1000 = 10%).

You can keep track of your LTV in real time within the Slate App. If you see that it is getting too high (e.g., approaching the Warning risk level) you can add more collateral to your existing credit line to reduce the LTV back to a healthy level.
